Teen Slashes Fellow Hudson Valley HS Student In Face: Police A Hudson Valley teen was charged with assault after allegedly slashing another high school student in the face with a medical-grade plastic handle blade instrument.  The incident occurred in Orange County at Middletown High School on Monday, Sept. 30, in Middletown. According to a message from Middletown School District Superintendent Amy Creeden, there was an incident between two students that resulted in one of them being cut in the face with what allegedly was a knife that is in police custody.
