Hudson Valley Woman Fleeing Traffic Stop Nabbed By Deputies, Police Say A 55-year-old Hudson Valley woman is facing multiple misdemeanor charges after allegedly fleeing a traffic stop and leading deputies on a pursuit through Ulster County. Dawn Snyder, of Accord, was charged with multiple misdemeanor infractions, including unlawful fleeing of a police officer and resisting arrest on Sunday, Jan. 5, on Main Street in Stone Ridge. Divers Recover SUV Submerged In Creek In Hudson Valley A vehicle was pulled from a creek in the region after its driver’s attempt to cross the water went wrong, according to authorities. The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 28, in Ulster County, in the Esopus Creek near Fording Place Road in Marbletown.  Deputies from the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office said the driver of a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee and a passenger managed to reach the shore safely before responders arrived.
