A Long Island man formally confessed to causing a drunken, wrong-way crash that claimed the lives of two 14-year-old boys and injured two other teens.
Amandeep Singh, 36, of Roslyn, pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicular homicide and related charges in Nassau County Court on Friday, Jan. 3.
Singh admitted that he was speeding, intoxicated, and high on cocaine when he crashed his pickup truck head-on into a car with four teenagers on North Broadway in Jericho on the night of May 3, 2023.

A woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after a chaotic crash on Long Island that ended with a boat catching fire.
Suffolk County Police said the incident occurred around 10 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, in Babylon.
