Teen On Scooter Seriously Injured In Crash On Long Island: Police A teenager was seriously injured after being struck by a car while riding a scooter in Huntington Station, police announced on Sunday, March 2. The 18-year-old was riding an eastbound Segue scooter on New York Avenue near East 13th Street when he was hit by a 2022 Honda Accord at approximately 1 p.m., according to Suffolk County Police. The driver, a 23-year-old from Huntington Station, was heading southbound when the crash occurred, police said.
