A police officer was hospitalized after a Long Island motorist allegedly became combative after being stopped near an intersection. Officers conducted the traffic stop of a 2012 Dodge Challenger in Valley Stream in the vicinity of Hook Creek Boulevard and 136th Avenue at around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2. A man has died from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle Long Island crash. The crash happened around 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19 in Glen Cove. A weeks-long investigation has led to the arrest of a Long Island man for allegedly exposing himself to a girl. The incident happened on Tuesday, Sept. 10, in Valley Stream.
