A person died after jumping from Rockefeller Lookout along the Palisades Interstate Parkway overnight, Daily Voice has learned. Emergency responders confirmed the individual jumped sometime before midnight Saturday, March 15 and was later confirmed deceased. Authorities have released new details about a fatal crash on the Palisades Interstate Parkway that claimed the life of a 16-year-old boy and injured several others, officials said. The two-car collision occurred at 5:58 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 28, in the southbound lanes of the Palisades Interstate Parkway near the New York state line, according to Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella. A crash temporarily blocked part of the Palisades Interstate Parkway in Rockland County and resulted in injuries amid snowy weather. The incident happened on Thursday, Feb. 6 at around 9:45 a.m. on the southbound lanes just south of Exit 16 in Stony Point, according to 511NY. As a result of the crash, the right lane was blocked to traffic in the area. It has since reopened as of 11:45 a.m. Injuries were reported.
