Person Jumps From Bear Mountain Bridge (Developing) Authorities responded to the Bear Mountain Bridge in the Hudson Valley after a person jumped off the structure early in the morning.  The incident happened on Friday, Feb. 7 at around 3:45 a.m., when a person leaped from the bridge, according to New York State Police.  Authorities are still at the bridge, police said, adding that more information is not yet available.  The structure connects Bear Mountain State Park in Orange County to the town of Cortlandt in Westchester County.  This is a developing story. Tractor Trailer Skids On Ice, Hits Tree On Side Of I-84 In Hudson Valley A man was injured after losing control of the tractor-trailer he was driving on an icy Interstate 84 in the Hudson Valley.  The crash happened in Orange County on Thursday, Feb. 6, just before 11 a.m., when a tractor-trailer driving east on I-84 in Wallkill slid on ice and snow and veered off the right side of the highway, according to New York State Police. The tractor-trailer then hit a tree.  The 32-year-old driver was treated for minor injuries. No traffic tickets were issued, police said.
