Man Critically Injured By Hit-Run Driver In Hudson Valley A man was critically injured in a hit-and-run crash in the region. The incident occurred in Ulster County around 9 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 29, in the town of Woodstock near the intersection of Maverick Road. According to Trooper Steven Nevel of the New York State Police, a preliminary investigation revealed that a 68-year-old Kingston man was riding his bike and traveling south on Route 375 when he was struck by an unknown vehicle that fled the scene.  The man was transported to MidHudson Regional Hospital in Dutchess County in Poughkeepsie, Nevel said. Serious Hudson Valley Crash Leaves Rider In Critical Condition A person was hospitalized in critical condition following a serious crash in the Hudson Valley that caused an hours-long road closure.  The crash happened in Putnam County on Friday, Aug. 30 at around 5 p.m., when a motorcycle crashed on Route 22 near the intersection with Route 311, according to Trooper AJ Hicks of the New York State Police.  The motorcyclist was later taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition, Hicks said.  Route 22 in the crash area was closed until around 8 p.m. on Friday as authorities investigated the incident.

Thomas, age 16, was last seen leaving her Franklin County residence on County Road 20 in town of Constable on Saturday, Aug. 24, according to New York State Police. She's described as being 5-foot-7, 117 pounds, with brown hair, and brown eyes. No clothing description was released.
