3 Hospitalized After House Fire In Hudson Valley Three people were rescued from a burning Hudson Valley home and hospitalized, firefighters said. The blaze happened in Putnam County on Tuesday, Nov. 5 just after midnight, when flames went up on a home's porch in the Lake Secor area of Mahopac, according to the Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department. Arriving fire crews soon realized three people were still inside the residence and quickly went inside to remove them. Car Rolls Over On Road In Hudson Valley, Causes Temporary Closure One lane of a Hudson Valley road was temporarily closed after a car flipped, firefighters said. The crash happened in Putnam County on Friday, Oct. 18 just before 8 a.m., when a vehicle flipped at the intersection of Hill Street and Lakeside Road in Mahopac, according to the Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department.  Arriving first responders evaluated the driver. However, they declined any medical attention.  One lane of traffic was closed for a short time while crews operated at the crash scene.  The cause of the crash was not released.

SUV Crashes Down Embankment In Hudson Valley A driver was hospitalized after their vehicle plunged down an embankment in the Hudson Valley.  The crash happened in Putnam County on Saturday, Sept. 7, when an SUV crashed into the woods at around 1:40 a.m. in the area of Nicholas Way in Mahopac, according to the Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department.  Arriving fire crews found that the driver had managed to escape the vehicle on their own after the crash. Blaze At Hudson Valley Home Put Out With Help From Neighbors Thanks to quick action from firefighters and help from neighbors, a blaze at a Hudson Valley home was prevented from getting worse. The blaze occurred in Putnam County on Sunday, June 2, when a fire broke out at a residence on West Lake Boulevard in Mahopac near Rockledge Place, according to the Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department.
