We are thrilled to announce that the West Point Museum has been named Best Historical Site/Museum in the Hudson Valley in the 2024 Daily Voice Readers' Choice Awards!

According to the West Point Museum’s website, this institution is the nation’s oldest federal museum, dedicated to preserving and showcasing the rich military history of the United States.

The museum’s mission, per its website, is to collect, preserve, exhibit, and interpret historically significant artifacts related to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, the U.S. Army, and the Profession of Arms, and visitors—admission is free—can explore exhibits spanning centuries, from the Revolutionary War to modern military advancements.

One Readers' Choice voter simply described it as “amazing history.”
