Student Caught With Loaded Gun At High School In Suffolk County A teenager was apprehended after authorities say he brought a gun to his school on Long Island. The 14-year-old at William Floyd High School in Mastic Beach was being interviewed by a school administrator on an unrelated matter when the student was found to have a loaded gun.  School officials contacted police early Friday afternoon, Oct. 18.
