A major crash blocked all eastbound lanes of the Thruway in Rotterdam for hours on Thursday, Feb. 27. Eastbound I-90 was fully closed at milepost 158, at the I-88 interchange, at 12:45 p.m. due to a crash involving a tractor-trailer, the New York State Thruway Authority said. Traffic cameras showed the tractor-trailer in a jack-knifed position with debris scattered across the roadway. The roadway had partially reopened by 3 p.m . Pickup Driver Ejected, Killed In Collision With Tractor-Trailer On Capital Region Highway
One person was killed following a crash involving a tractor-trailer on a Capital Region highway. The wreck happened in Saratoga County, on State Route 67 (Amsterdam Road) in Charlton, at around 12:45 p.m. Monday, Feb. 3. A tractor-trailer collided with a pickup truck at the intersection of West Line Road, ejecting the pickup driver, New York State Police said. 1 Killed, 1 Hospitalized In Chain-Reaction I-87 Crash
One person was killed and another injured when a Nissan van traveling north on a busy stretch of I-87 rear-ended a bobtail 2016 Freightliner tractor-trailer that was slowed in the right lane of traffic. The collision occurred in Orange County at 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 13, in the town of Woodbury. According to New York State Trooper Sgt. Jack Keller, an approaching work zone for line stripping, caused the slow traffic. The collision pushed the tractor-trailer forward and into the rear of a 1997 Freightliner tractor-trailer. Police are investigating after a 74-year-old Connecticut man was killed during a two-vehicle crash in the Hudson Valley. The incident occurred in Dutchess County at the intersection of Route 22 and Route 55 in the town of Dover, a hamlet of Wingdale, around 3:45 p.m., Thursday, June 13. According to Capt.
