Colleagues are mourning the sudden death of Greene County Undersheriff Michael Overbaugh. The longtime public servant, 62, died unexpectedly at home Wednesday morning, Feb. 12, the sheriff’s office confirmed Friday, Feb. 14. A firefighter and father of three who was killed battling a blaze in upstate New York is being remembered for his dedication to the community. Binghamton Fire Department member John “JR” Gaudet, 40, was gravely injured when a wall collapsed during a firefight on the city’s Main Street on Wednesday night, Feb. 12, the agency confirmed. Justin Timberlake formally accepted a plea deal in his alleged drunk driving case in New York. A former pediatric nurse from Long Island could avoid jail time after confessing that she raked in over $1 million selling forged COVID-19 vaccine cards and opioid prescriptions.
