Two Capital District Men Nabbed For Child Porn: Police Two Capital District men were nabbed for possession of child pornography after police received a tip from the State Police Computer Crimes Unit.  The incident occurred in Columbia County on Wednesday, Oct. 9, in Taghkanic. According to Trooper AJ Hicks of the State Police, following a law enforcement tip, investigators determined both John R. Vogt, age 74, and Mark T. According to Ten-X, the 121-room Holiday Inn Express in Dutchess County on Route 9 in Poughkeepsie will be auctioned on Wednesday, Nov. 20. The company-owned property was originally put up for sale in 2020, but it was pulled due to the pandemic and market plunges.  Ten-X says the property is offered unencumbered by management and debt. Assailant Flees Scene After Woman Stabbed In Poughkeepsie A Hudson Valley woman was stabbed during a fight between two groups of people on a city street.  The incident occurred in Dutchess County around 10 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 9, on Montgomery Street in the city of Poughkeepsie. According to Det. Lt. Sean McCarthy of the city of Poughkeepsie Police, Donyae Paris Andrews, age 24, of Poughkeepsie, received non-life-threatening injuries to her arm during the attack. Man Attacked, Killed By Dogs In Capital Region Police in the Capital District are investigating after a man was mauled and killed by a pack of dogs.
