Suspects Still On Run After Five Shot In Westchester County, Police Say
Police are intensifying their investigations into two shootings that injured five people in one night in Westchester County. The incidents began in Yonkers around 9:15 p.m. on Saturday, July 16. That's when officers responded to the area of Pitkin Park on Locust Hill Avenue on a report of shots fired, said Sgt. Frank DiDomizio, of the Yonkers Police Department. Five people were injured in two separate shootings on the same night in Westchester County. Both shootings happened on Saturday, July 16, in Yonkers, according to the Yonkers Police Department. Twelve people were indicted following a months-long investigation into the possession and sale of cocaine in Westchester. Westchester County District Attorney Miriam Rocah announced that the defendants have all been arraigned as of Tuesday, July 12.
