Westchester Man Known For 'One-Of-a-kind Sense Of Humor' Dies At Age 34 A Westchester County man who died at the age of 34 is being remembered for his kindness and sense of humor. Michael Patrick Gainor died on Wednesday, Oct. 5, according to his obituary. Gainor was born and raised in New Rochelle, and he also had ties to Westerly, Rhode Island, his obituary said. After graduating from New Rochelle HighSchool, he joined Samson Management, where he worked for the rest of his life. Tropical Storm Sunday: Henri Makes Landfall With a sustained wind strength of 60 miles per hour, Tropical Storm Henri made landfall early Sunday afternoon, Aug. 22. Landfall happened at around 12:45 p.m. Sunday in Westerly, Rhode Island, which is located on the southwestern shoreline of Washington County, about 12 miles east of Mystic Seaport, in New London County, Connecticut. Henri hit the New England Coast with heavy rain, in addition to the powerful winds. Officials in the area of the landfall are preparing for power outages as well as potential rescues due to flooding.
