Narcan Used To Rescue Wallkill Woman, 24, Who Overdosed Wallkill Sgt. Daniel Ward and Police Officer Daniel Graham responded to an  Emergency Medical Services call  earlier this month at a residence on Meadow Lakes Drive.   Upon arrival, the officers discovered a 24-year-old female from the Town of Wallkill unconscious on a bedroom floor. The victim was unresponsive and demonstrating signs of an overdose. Police Officer Graham, assisted by Sergeant Ward, began administering emergency first aid, including the use of Department issued nasally delivered Narcan.  Within a minute, the victim regained consciousness and w…

Police Investigate Gunshots Fired At House In Wallkill Detectives are investigating a series of gunshots that rang out on a local roadway and struck an Orange County residence. Shortly after 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 13, officers from the Wallkill Police Department were dispatched to a Langston Mews home in Middletown, where there was a report of “shots fired” in the street in front of the property. Police said that investigators determined that an unknown number of shots were fired on the street and that several of the rounds struck the Langston Mews home. No injuries were reported.
