One person was killed during a Hudson Valley crash between a sedan that was allegedly driving in the wrong direction and a tractor-trailer. The incident took place in Putnam County around 4 a.m. Monday, near mile marker 68 eastbound on I-84 in the town of Southeast. According to Trooper AJ Hicks of the New York State Police, A Subaru Cross Trek was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes when it struck an eastbound 2024 Volvo tractor-trailer. A cell phone camera was rolling when an elderly, wrong-way driver went off an overpass on the Thruway. The Albany County incident happened at around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 5 on I-87 in the town of Bethlehem. First responders carried out a careful rescue operation after a man fell over 50 feet down a ravine following a crash on a highway in Northern Westchester. The incident happened on Thursday, Feb. 29 at around 6:30 p.m., when a three-car crash occurred on Interstate 684 in Bedford at the overpass spanning Beaver Dam Park.
