Biden's Visit Expected To Cause Hours-Long Traffic Delays In Parts Of Hudson Valley
A visit by President Joe Biden to the Hudson Valley is expected to create hours-long road closures and cause heavy traffic delays. The president will travel to Dutchess County to speak at IBM’s campus off Route 9 in Poughkeepsie at around 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6. Police Locate Driver Who Approached Student In Dutchess County
Following a warning Tuesday to parents of the Spackenkill School District about a person who asked a student to get inside a white van, police say they have located the vehicle and the driver. Town of Poughkeepsie Capt. Kevin Faber said the department had located the white commercial van and man that approached a 14-year-old girl around 3:45 p.m. Monday while she was walking on Spackenkill Road. Registered 'Lifetime' Sex Offender Reports Move To Poughkeepsie
A registered "lifetime" sexual offender convicted of raping an 11-year-old girl has reported a move in Dutchess County. The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert this week to Dutchess residents regarding the residency of 42-year-old Anthony Rodriguez, who has reported a move from Newburgh to a residence on Spackenkill Road in Poughkeepsie.
