The identity of a 41-year-old man pulled from a river in Westchester County has been released by police. Earlier Report - Body Of 41-Year-Old Pulled From River In Yonkers The man is identified as William Tunley of Yonkers, according to Yonkers Police. Tunley's body was found in the Saw Mill River at the Chicken Island Daylighting Park on Sunday, Oct. 23, authorities said. Hours-Long Road Closures Scheduled For Saw Mill River Parkway Over Four-Day Span
There will be weeknight lane closures on a stretch of the Saw Mill River Parkway for several days in Westchester to allow contracting crews to continue to make drainage repairs and improvements along the roadway. Expect Delays: Work To Resume On Saw Mill River Parkway Flood Project
Motorists in the Hudson Valley can expect delays as work ramps back up on the Saw Mill River Parkway flood mitigation project. Beginning on Monday, Dec. 13, construction crews in Westchester County will begin “daytime pile-driving” on the northbound lanes of the parkway as they look to make the roadway more resistant to flooding following years of issues that led to multiple road closures.
