Woman Nabbed For Stealing $6K In Jewelry In New Windsor A Poughkeepsie woman was arrested for ripping off more than $6,000 in jewelry belonging to a relative while she was visiting, according to the New Windsor Police. Sarah M. Wayering, 34, was arrested after police were called to the home in December when a New Windsor residence noticed that more than $6,500 worth of jewelry was missing from her home, said Det. Sgt. Chris Sager. A subsequent investigation by the detective division led to Wayering, a family member, who had stayed the night in the home a few days before, Sager said.
