Missing Woman Found Dead At Bottom Of Cliff In Orange County A missing woman who had not been seen in a day was located by a New York State Police drone at the bottom of a Hudson Valley cliff.  The incident occurred in Orange County around 11 a.m., Friday, Sept. 27, at the Hawk's Nest in Sparrow Bush. Trooper Shoots Man Who Aimed Vehicle At Officer In Region, Police Say A 63-year-old man was shot once by a New York State trooper after he allegedly drove toward a police officer at a high rate of speed after threatening them with a gun.  The incident occurred in Sullivan County around 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2, at two locations on Route 97. Man Killed After Being Ejected From SUV In Head-On Crash In Region A man from the region was killed after being ejected from his SUV while passing another vehicle and hitting it head-on. The crash happened at 1:45 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 10 on Route 97 in the town of Highland in Sullivan County. Zimmer, age 45, of Narrowsburg, Zimmer was driving a 2000 Chevy Blazer southbound on Route 97 when he attempted to pass another vehicle when he struck a 2008 Toyota Tacoma traveling north.
