Car-Carrying Trailer Catches On Fire On Westchester Roadway
A tractor-trailer hauling several cars caught on fire on a Westchester County highway. On Wednesday morning, Oct. 19, the Purchase Fire Department responded to a fire involving a tractor-trailer on I-287 in the area of I-684, fire officials said. Car Crashes Into Post Office In Westchester
Multiple fire departments responded to a Westchester County post office after a car crashed into the building. It happened on Saturday, April 2 in Purchase at the post office located at 3003 Purchase St., officials said. The Purchase Fire Department, Port Chester Fire Department, and Harrison EMS were dispatched to the scene. Officials said the car drove into the vestibule of the Purchase Post Office. IDs Released For Husband, Wife Killed In Chain-Reaction Westchester Crash
The identities have been released of the victims of a double-fatal, chain-reaction crash involving five vehicles in Westchester. It happened around 8:25 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 19 on I-287 eastbound, in the town of Harrison, between Exit 10 (Purchase/Port Chester) and Exit 11 (Port Chester/Rye), state police said.
