Cuomo Approval Rating Plummets To Lowest Ever Among NY Voters, New Poll Says Three months after being overwhelmingly re-elected for a third term, Gov. Andrew Cuomo's approval rating is the lowest ever with more than half of New York voters viewing him unfavorably, according to a new poll released on Monday. Only 43 percent of voters statewide viewed Cuomo favorably, while 50 percent viewed him unfavorably, according to the Siena College poll. The governor’s rating dropped across the board, falling with Democrat, Republican and independent voters. Molinaro Campaign Expects Support From Republican Governors Association Record Fundraising A spokesman for Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro, who is challenging Democrat Andrew Cuomo for governor on Nov. 6, said the campaign expects to benefit from the national Republican Governors Association record fundraising this election cycle.
