17-Year-Old Victim In Hudson Valley Double-Fatal Crash Was 'Easy To Love'
Friends and family members are remembering a 17-year-old teen killed in a double-fatal crash as loving sports and his family.
Jack J. Noble, of the hamlet of Port Ewen, died unexpectedly on Monday, Jan. 8, during the collision in Ulster County around 9 a.m., Monday, Jan. 8 on Route 28 in the town of Shandaken.
A native of Kingston, Jack was a junior at Kingston High School. He was an honor roll student and a Varsity athlete, his obituary said.

A 24-year-old Hudson Valley man faces 25 in prison after admitting he killed a victim involved in a home burglary, according to authorities.
Ulster County resident Jacob Jackson, age 24, of Rosendale, pleaded guilty to manslaughter on Tuesday, Nov. 14, for the shooting death of Myron Moye, age 36, of Kingston, said Ulster County District Attorney David Clegg.
On Friday, Nov. 1, 2019, three men wearing masks and gloves broke into Moye's home, tied up occupants, and then stabbed, shot, and killed the victim and fled, Clegg said.

Hudson Valley Man Nabbed For Sex Abuse, Police Looking For Other Victims, Cops Say
Police are encouraging anyone who may have information or who was abused by a man charged with alleged sex abuse to come forward.
Ulster County resident Steven Lopez, age 34, of Kingston, was charged on Wednesday, Nov. 1 with persistent sex abuse for forcibly touching a victim against their will.
According to Kingston Police, Lopez has been arrested at least twice for the same type of crime in the past 10 years.
Following his arrest, Lopez was released to the Pre-Trial Released Program with Ulster County Probation, police said.

Ulster County resident Mainor E. Sagastume, age 33, of Kingston, was charged following extradition from Lee County in Flordia on Wednesday, Oct. 11.
According to Capt. Joseph Sciutto, of the Ulster County Sheriff's Office, on Saturday, Feb. 11, deputies responded to Ridge Road in the Town of Hurley for the report of a violent assault that had just occurred.

A man from the region has been indicted for the attempted murder of a woman who was sitting on her porch when six shots were fired.
Ulster County resident Corey Marshall, age 34, of Kingston, was indicted by an Ulster County Grand Jury on Tuesday, Oct. 3 for the felonies of attempted murder, assault, and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
According to the Ulster County District Attorney, the indictment stems from a shooting that took place in the Town of Esopus on Thursday, Oct. 6, 2022.

5 Hudson Valley Residents Nabbed In Drug Raid, Police Say
Following complaints from residents of drug dealing in the area, five Hudson Valley residents were busted for alleged drug sales and other charges during a warrants search.
The incident took place in Ulster County in Kingston around 5:30 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 15 at a home on Third Avenue.
According to the Kingston Police Department, officers searched the home and found drug paraphernalia, weapons, and drugs.
