21 Charged With Driving While Impaired/Intoxicated During St. Patrick's Day Crackdown In Area
Nearly two dozen drivers were busted by police for alleged impaired driving in the Hudson Valley during a St. Patrick’s Day holiday crackdown. Local law enforcement agencies in Dutchess County collaborated as part of a “High Visibility Community Engagement Campaign” that ran from Wednesday, March 16 through Sunday, March 20, leading to the arrests of 21 people for DWI-related offenses. A Hudson Valley man who violated an order of protection is wanted by New York State Police. Joseph Pasqualina, 24, is wanted by New York State Police and the Town of Hyde Park Justice Court on charges that include criminal contempt and aggravated harassment following multiple incidents in Dutchess County. Pasqualina, of Hyde Park, was arrested in 2016 following a complaint from a Rhinebeck resident who reported that he was sending text messages in violation of a court order.
