Four people, including a Connecticut resident, face attempted identity theft charges after trying to withdraw funds from a victim's account at a Hudson Valley bank, police said. An alert has been issued by New York State Police investigators for a woman wanted for bank fraud. Investigators in Wappingers are seeking the public’s assistance as they attempt to track down Jamie Mullins, 38, who is wanted by the New York State Police and Town of East Fishkill Justice Court for charges stemming from a bank fraud investigation. New York State Police investigators in Wappinger are seeking the public’s assistance as they attempt to track down a woman wanted on a grand larceny charge in East Fishkill, stemming from a bank fraud incident. A woman attempting to park at a bank in Hopewell Junction jumped the curb and drove into the building. The incident took place around 9:46 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, when East Fishkill police responded to the Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union on Route 376 for a report of a car accident, said East Fishkill Police Chief Matthew Orsino. Teen Nabbed For Damaging ATM At Town Of Poughkeepsie Bank
An area teen wanted for causing extensive damage to an ATM machine at a Hudson Valley bank turned himself into police. Ryan A. Weatherwax, 19, of Wappingers Falls, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with criminal mischief, said Town of Poughkeepsie Police Capt. Kevin Faber. The damage to the ATM took place on Thursday, Oct. 11, during the overnight hours at the Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union at 2373 South Road, Faber said. Weatherwax was arraigned in the Town of Poughkeepsie Justice Court and released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 19.

Salfelder of Lagrangeville was arrested shortly after 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, when police received a call of a reported bank robbery at the Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union on South Road (Route 9), said Town of Poughkeepsie Police Lt. A man who threatened to shoot employees at a Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union bank was nabbed by police for making terroristic threats, according to the Wallkill Police Department. Paul Martin, 54, of Bloomington, was arrested after Wallkill Police received a report around 4 p.m. Thursday, May 24, of a disturbance at the bank at 40 Lloyds Lane, said Wallkill Police Chief Robert Hertman.
