Services Scheduled For New City Teen Peter Ereifej, 18 Services will be held this week for an 18-year-old teen who was found dead in a state park while more than 100 volunteers searched for the missing New City resident. Peter Zaidoun Ereifej died tragically climbing Mount Hook on Friday, May 13, according to his obituary. Ereifej was born in Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, on Dec. 26, 2000 to Rania and Zaidoun Ereifej. Ronald Fatigate, Former Police Commissioner In Westchester, Dies At 55 Ronald Fatigate of Pearl River, a former police commissioner in Westchester, died at home, on Monday, Jan. 28 after a battle with cancer.  He was born on Aug. 11, 1963, to Ralph Fatigate and Helen Martino Fatigate. He served the City of Mount Vernon as a police officer and detective, later becoming police commissioner.  He was active in his community in Pearl River and was the owner of Raffaele's Pizzeria, where he was always generous with local charities. Longtime Detective In Hudson Valley Dies Unexpectedly At 51 Aloysius F. McMahon of West Nyack, a longtime Rockland County detective, died unexpectedly on Thursday, Sept. 13. He was 51. McMahon was with the Rockland County Sheriff's Office and Corrections Division for 29 years, beginning in corrections in1989, and moved to the Patrol Division as an officer in 1996.  He worked for the Rockland County Drug Task Force from 1998 to 1999 before becoming a well-known and respected crime scene detective in 1999 to present.
