A New York man accused of opening fire on a group of people who accidentally turned down his driveway, killing a 20-year-old woman, is not cooperating with police, authorities said.
The shooting happened Saturday night, April 15, in Washington County, in the town of Hebron, located southeast of Glens Falls.
Speaking at a press conference on Monday, April 17, Washington County Sheriff Jeffrey Murphy said the suspect, 65-year-old Kevin Monahan, has refused to speak to investigators about the shooting.

Hudson Valley Man Pleads Guilty To Murder, DA Says
A Hudson Valley man has pleaded guilty in connection with the shooting death of another man last year.
Dutchess County resident Devin A. Taylor, age 27, of Poughkeepsie, pleaded guilty on Wednesday, March 8, to the Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2022, death of Darren Villani, said Assistant Dutchess County District Attorney Matthew Weishaupt.
He also pleaded guilty to criminal possession of a weapon, Weishaupt said.

An area man wanted for a string of armed robberies dating back to 2016 has been sentenced to 11 years in state prison.
John Elliott, 31, of Woodbury, was sentenced Monday, Jan. 7, to two concurrent sentences of 11 years, followed by five years post-release supervision after pleading guilty on June 6, 2018, to two counts of robbery in connection with robberies in the Town of Monroe between December 2016 and December 2017, said Orange County District Attorney David M.
