A 27-year-old man was charged with fleeing a police officer after allegedly taking off at a high rate of speed during a traffic stop in the area and then crashing. The incident took place in Sullivan County around 11 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12 in the town of Thompson. Man Issued 75 Tickets After Chase In Region, State Police Say
A man is behind bars after being issued 75 tickets at one time for allegedly fleeing from police during a routine traffic stop in New York State. Albany County resident Timothy Hall, age 41, of Slingerlands, was arrested around 1:45 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 12, following the incident which began in the town of Catskill in Greene County, said the New York State Police. An area man who fled from police during a routine traffic stop causing a school lockdown was captured after a chase. The 20-year-old unidentified Dutchess County man from Pawling was arrested on Tuesday, Nov. 9, following the stop by Carmel Police in Putnam County. Man On Run After Fleeing From Police During Traffic Stop In Area
A man wanted for allegedly tampering with evidence while fleeing from New York State Police troopers in the Hudson Valley during a traffic stop late last year is wanted in Orange County. An alert was issued by New York State Police Troop F in Montgomery as they attempt to locate Carlos Santiago Jr., who was arrested on Oct. 18 last year following a traffic stop in Newburgh.
