Recall Alert: Pharma Company Pulls Infant Ibuprofen From CVS, Walmart, Family Dollar
Tris Pharma, Inc. has voluntarily recalled a popular infant’s Ibuprofen product that is being sold at Walmart, CVS and Family Dollar. The recalled lots from the three stores include Infants' Ibuprofen Concentrated Oral Suspension, USP (NSAID) 50 mg per 1.25 mL, to the retail level. The recalled products have been found to potentially have higher concentrations of ibuprofen. According to the company, there is a “remote possibility that infants, who may be more susceptible to a higher potency level of drug, and therefore may be more vulnerable to permanent NSAID-associated renal injury.” Adv…

3 Charged With Shoplifting From Fair Lawn CVS All Had Arrest Warrants, Police Say
Three people arrested on shoplifting charges at the Fair Lawn CVS on the same day were all wanted by police on warrants. The first incident took place on July 4 when Fair Lawn Police responded to the CVS at 18-35 River Road for a report of two men who had fled the store without paying for items, said Fair Lawn Police Sgt. Brian Metzler. While investigating the theft, Officer Stephen Buskiewicz approached two men matching the description on East 23rd Street in Paterson, but they fled on foot until eventually captured, Metzler said. Identity Theft At Bank, Accosted Driver, Top Mount Kisco Police Blotter
A 49-year-old man is behind bars after allegedly attempting to use a false identity at a Mount Kisco bank, according to a county police spokesperson. Westchester County Police investigators arrested Bronx resident Howard Walker shortly after 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23, after officers were dispatched to People’s United Bank on South Moger Avenue, where there was a report from staff about a possible fraud attempt.
