Woman Critical After Stabbing, Assault On Hudson Valley Street Police are investigating and searching for a suspect after a woman was found stabbed and assaulted on a Hudson Valley street. The incident occurred in Dutchess County on Monday, Sept. 30, around 7:30 a.m. in the 500 block of Main Street in Poughkeepsie. According to the Poughkeepsie Police, officers found the 35-year-old woman semi-conscious with severe facial wounds and a stab wound to the back. Man, 55, Found Shot Dead In Hudson Valley Parking Lot Police are searching for a suspect after a 55-year-old man was found shot dead in a parking lot in the region. The incident occurred in Dutchess County around 10:20 p.m., Saturday, June 1, in the area of 472 Main St., in Poughkeepsie. According to Det. Lt. Longtime Detective In Hudson Valley Dies Unexpectedly At 51 Aloysius F. McMahon of West Nyack, a longtime Rockland County detective, died unexpectedly on Thursday, Sept. 13. He was 51.
