Truck Slams Into Overpass On Northern Westchester Parkway: Was Following GPS, Police Say Multiple lanes of a busy parkway in Northern Westchester had to be temporarily closed after a truck crashed into an overpass, police said. The incident happened on Saturday, Jan. 27 just before 1 p.m., when a box truck crashed into the Bedford Road overpass on the northbound Saw Mill River Parkway near Exit 28 in Pleasantville, according to Westchester County Police Public Information Officer Kieran O'Leary.
