A 51-year-old Hudson Valley man faces charges after exposing himself inside a women's restroom at a Westchester County park, police announced. The arrest stemmed from an incident on Sunday, June 2 around 8 p.m., when a woman entered the restroom at Rye Town Park and found a man inside committing a lewd act with his pants down, according to the City of Rye Police Department. Man Armed With Box Cutter Rescued From Train Tracks By Police In Westchester
A distressed man armed with both a box cutter and a screwdriver was saved from train tracks in Westchester County by several police officers. The incident happened on Friday, Feb. 3 around 3 p.m. in Rye, when police learned that a potentially suicidal man was standing on the train tracks by the Rye train station. Fraudsters Posing As Door-To-Door Salespeople In Westchester, Police Warn
Police issued an alert to Westchester County residents about a common scam where individuals pose as door-to-door salespeople. The City of Rye Police Department made the announcement on Tuesday, Aug. 16. "With so many residents doing home improvements we have a lot of contractors in our area," police said.
