Police in Hyde Park are asking local residents who may have seen something to alert investigators after a man and woman allegedly broke into several cars and stole items out of local cars in the area of Mansion Drive. Investigators noted that residents should lock their doors at night in an effort to curtail thefts from vehicles. Anyone with information regarding the recent rash of thievery has been asked to call the Hyde Park Police Department by calling (845) 229-9340.

Seen Them? Mahwah PD Seeks Help Finding Car Burglars Mahwah police turned to the public Thursday for help finding two car burglars. The thefts occurred in and around the Cragmere area around 2 a.m. Wednesday, Police Chief James N. Batelli said. “The proceeds from one of the thefts included a credit card which was used to purchase a number of items at a Walmart In Kearny” a couple of hours later, the chief said.
