This New York Restaurant Is Among Guy Fieri's Favorites In State, New Report Says
A restaurant known for its crispy fried chicken and award-winning apple pies is one of Guy Fieri's favorite eateries in New York, according to a new report from Mashed.
The website shared its list of the best restaurants featured on "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" in all 50 states on Tuesday, Dec. 27.
Pies-n-Thighs, located in Brooklyn, was named the top New York restaurant from the show.
The restaurant, which opened in 2006, has received a number of awards over the years for its apple pies, donuts, and biscuits.

Trio Nabbed In Hudson Valley For Stealing Mail, Checks, Credit Cards: Police
Three suspects have been charged with stealing mail out of mailboxes in the Hudson Valley, as well as possessing stolen checks and credit cards, police said.
On Thursday, Dec. 1, just after midnight, police were contacted by a resident who spotted a suspicious vehicle stealing mail in Carmel in the area of West Lake Boulevard (Route 33), according to Carmel Police.
Police were then able to locate the vehicle in Mahopac on Route 6N and pulled the vehicle over. Inside, police identified the driver and two passengers as:

New York Man Wins $1M Mega Millions Prize
A man from New York City won a $1 million lottery prize.
Omar Williams, of Brooklyn, claimed the prize after matching the first five numbers in the Mega Millions drawing on Tuesday, Sept. 20, New York Lottery reported on Wednesday, Nov. 30.
Williams received his prize as a single, lump-sum payment of $612,240 after required withholdings, NY Lottery said.
The lottery said the winning numbers from the drawing were 09 21 28 30 52 Mega Ball 10.
The ticket was purchased at Ansha, which is located at 6842 4th Ave. in Brooklyn, NY Lottery said.
