The incident occurred in Sullivan County at 10:10 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 30, at Broadway and Jefferson Street in the village of Monticello. Lt. Mark Johnstone of the Monticello Police said responding officers found a 22-year-old Monticello man on Liberty Street who had been shot in the left foot. Man From Region Nabbed For Commercial Burglary, Police Say A man from the region was charged with burglary and grand larceny after allegedly being caught on video surveillance stealing $2,000 from a business. Sullivan County resident Paul A. Ellis, age 37, of Monticello, was arrested on Wednesday, Nov. 29, said Lt. Mark Johnstone of the Monticello Police. Escaped Federal Prisoner Nabbed In Region Police in the region, along with members of the US Marshal Service arrested an escaped prisoner who had been granted a furlough to attend a funeral. Jason “Critter” Lajoie, age 45, was arrested on Wednesday, Oct. 27, said Lt. Mark Johnstone, of the Monticello Police in Sullivan County. Man Slumped Over Wheel Resuscitated By Officers In Region Police officers in the region came to the aid of a 62-year-old man who was suffering a medical emergency in the middle of a busy intersection. Shortly before 5 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 30 in Sullivan County, Monticello Police Officer Justin Dawson came across a stationary car at a green traffic light at the intersection of Bank Street and Broadway. One Killed In Shooting Outside Area Sports Bar, Police Say One person was killed during a shooting outside a popular area sports bar. The incident took place around 2 a.m, Saturday, Aug. 7, in Sullivan County outside of Nelly's Sports Bar located at 456 Broadway in Monticello. According to Johnstone, when police arrived on the scene in response to a shots fire call they found an unresponsive 29-year-old man lying on the sidewalk outside of the bar,  Lt. Lawrence Wilson Sr., 42 and Lawrence Wilson Jr., 23, both of Monticello, were arrested on Friday, Nov. 30, and charged with forgery, two counts of criminal possession of stolen property, and petit larceny, said Lt.
