Four Nabbed For Vandalizing Numerous Buildings With Graffiti In Area, Police Say
Four men have been arrested for allegedly "tagging" and spray painting graffiti on numerous buildings in Beacon.
The four, John P. Skivington, 24, Bryan D. Nava, 27, Niko O. Beckles, 24, all of New Windsor, and Carlos Reyes, 21, of Newburgh, were arrested on various dates following the damage discovered on Dec. 23 on Main Street, said Det. Lt. Jason Johnson of the Beacon Police.
After finding the graffiti, police posted camera surveillance photos of four men on Facebook and the four were identified.

25 Charged In Impaired Driving Crackdown In Area
During a Halloween crackdown on impaired drivers, law enforcement agencies in Dutchess County arrested more than two dozen drivers for alleged DWI.
Between Thursday, Oct. 31, and Sunday, Nov. 3, local, county and state police agencies teamed to increase DWI checkpoints and saturation patrols throughout Dutchess.
In total, 26 arrests were made, 25 of which were for impaired driving. The crackdown was the first of eight planned during the holiday season.

Three men have been arrested in connection with a robbery in which a woman was robbed and pushed from a moving vehicle.
The incident took place around 4:45 a.m., on Friday, Oct. 18, in the area of Liberty and Bridge streets, said City of Beacon Police Det. Sgt. Jason Johnson.
