Second Woodstock 50th Anniversary Celebration Scheduled, This One At Watkins Glen Music lovers will have two ways to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the legendary 3-day 1969 Woodstock festival on the same weekend. Bethel Woods announced last month that they will host a 50th-anniversary celebration at the original site of the renowned groove fest Aug. 16-18, 2019, at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, a concert venue built on the original Woodstock site in the Hudson Valley's Sullivan County.
