Coyote Attack On Sheep Reported At Muscoot Farm County officials said a coyote may have killed a sheep at Muscoot Farm in Somers and injured two others on Thursday. The sheep were found when employees to perform morning farm chores Thursday and noticed a sheep lying in the field and two others limping, said Alexis Joondeph-Breidbart, a spokeswoman for Westchester County. New NY Law Looks To Help Reunite Lost Pets With Owners Lost pets may soon be a thing of the past in New York. New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed a bill into law this week that will require found pets to be checked for microchips within 24 hours of being picked up on local streets. The law will require animal shelters and rescue groups that take in lost animals to check if a found pet has a chip or other identifying information that may help them reunite with their family.
