Razor Blades Found In Rectum Of NY Jail Inmate, Police Say A sheriff in New York is crediting recent jailhouse security upgrades for busting an inmate who allegedly tried smuggling in razor blades. The stomach-churning discovery was made Wednesday, March 20, inside the Albany County jail in Albany. Sheriff Craig Apple said the inmate was returning to the facility after pleading guilty to a weapon possession charge when he went through a body scanner meant to detect dangerous contraband. Albany County resident Jesse Stockman, age 37, of Colonie, was arrested Friday, Jan. 12, in connection with several break-ins at businesses in Colonie. Colonie Police were called at around 10 p.m. for a report of a commercial burglary in progress near Troy-Schenectady and Old Loudon roads. The culprit fled before officers arrived. It happened at around 9:55 p.m. Saturday, May 28 on the northbound side in Albany County in the town of Colonie. Man Charged In Fatal Stabbing Of Popular Chef In Capital District Police have arrested a man accused of fatally stabbing an up-and-coming chef in the Capital District. Marquis Jackson, age 34, of Albany, was charged with second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon, Albany Police said. Investigators believe Jackson stabbed 31-year-old Tyrome Wallace multiple times during an altercation inside a home on Washington Avenue Monday night, May 16.
