Officers from the department were dispatched to Red Barn Lane shortly after 10:15 p.m. on Sunday night when there were reports of “shots fired” on the street in front of a home.
Police said that officers determined that “an unknown number of shots were fired on the street, and that several of the rounds struck the residences at 29 and 31 Red Barn Lane.” No injuries were reported.
The incident is actively being investigated by police. Anyone with information regarding the shooting has been asked to contact detectives by calling the Wallkill Police Department at (845) 692-6757.
