Eileen Medina was indicted on charges of felony robbery and attempted robbery in connection with the Dec. 11 incident that took place at her foster home in the Town of Monroe, the DA's Office said.

Senior Assistant District Attorney Maryellen Albanese told the judge.that Medina was ”holding a knife to the child’s abdomen and throat while demanding that the foster mother turn over her car keys."

Albanese also said Medina would have no issue with killing the child.

After the foster mother found the keys, Medina, while still holding the child at knifepoint, made the woman go outside and clean the snow and ice off the car.
