The crash occurred around 5 p.m. Thursday in the Town of Newburgh at the intersection of Fostertown Road and New Road when the driver of the SUV either ran the stop sign or failed to yield the right away to the bus, the police told the Times Herald-Record. Police said the force of the crash smashed the SUV into a tree.
