The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert this week to Orange County residents regarding the residency of 32-year-old Randy Deese, who has moved from to a residence on Albany Post Road in Montgomery.
The Division of Criminal Justice Services has assigned Deese as a level 2 threat, which means he is at "moderate risk of a repeat offense."
According to the Division of Criminal Justice Services, Deese had sexual intercourse with his 14-year-old victim in November 2004 and he was convicted of second-degree rape in October the following year. He was sentenced to a term of six months in jail and 10 years probation. He is now under the jurisdiction of the Montgomery Town Police Department.
