Sex Offender Convicted Of Abusing 13-Year-Old Girl Reports Move In Middletown

A registered sex offender convicted of having sexual contact with a 13-year-old girl has reported a move in Orange County.

The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert this week to Orange County residents regarding the residency of 40-year-old Tony Irizarry, who was reported a move from East Main Street to Monhagen Avenue in Middletown.

The Division of Criminal Justice Services has assigned Irizarry as a Level 3 threat, which means he is a “high-risk repeat offender and possible threat to public safety.”

According to the Division of Criminal Justice Services, Irizarry had sexual contact with his teenage victim in May 2007. He was arrested and convicted of having criminal sexual act of having anal or oral sex with a minor under the age of 15 in September that same year. Irizarry was sentenced to a term of three years in prison and is now under the jurisdiction of the Middletown City Police Department.
