Assailant Flees Scene After Woman Stabbed In Hudson Valley
A Hudson Valley woman was stabbed during a fight between two groups of people on a city street. The incident occurred in Dutchess County around 10 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 9, on Montgomery Street in the city of Poughkeepsie. According to Det. Lt. Sean McCarthy of the city of Poughkeepsie Police, Donyae Paris Andrews, age 24, of Poughkeepsie, received non-life-threatening injuries to her arm during the attack. Head-On Crash: Pair Of 11-Year-Olds Injured In Rockland County
Two 11-year-olds on were injured in a head-on crash in the Hudson Valley. The incident occurred in Rockland County around 3:20 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 18, on Sunny Ridge Road in New Hempstead. According to Ramapo Police Lt. Thomas Dolan, officers responding to the crash found the two injured children who were riding a miniature dirt bike on the roadway. An investigation found the two were driving the dirt bike westbound, on the wrong side of the road, when they struck a moving vehicle head-on, Dolan said. 39-Year-Old Man Killed In Hudson Valley Crash
A man was killed in a three-vehicle crash that caused an hours-long closure on a busy Northern Westchester road, police said. Brandon Plunkett, age 39, died in the crash on Thursday, Aug. 15 in North Castle that happened at around 3:30 p.m. on northbound Route 22 between Route 120 and Old Orchard Street, North Castle Police announced on Monday, Aug. 19. According to the department, three vehicles were involved in the crash, including a motorcycle operated by Plunkett, who succumbed to injuries sustained in the incident.
