CVS To Lay Off Nearly 3K Workers CVS announced it will lay off nearly 3,000 workers as part of a cost-cutting move aimed at saving $2 billion. These approximately 2,900 layoffs, primarily in corporate roles in the company's CVS Health division, represent less than 1 percent of the company's workforce, CVS said.  "The reductions will not impact front-line jobs in our stores, pharmacies and distribution centers,” a CVS spokesperson told CNN. Northern Westchester CVS Incident Involving Woman Leads To Chase, 3 Arrests Three Connecticut men were apprehended after an incident involving a woman in a CVS parking lot in New York led to a police chase and separate crashes. The chain of events began around 4:30 p.m. Friday, May 17 in Northern Westchester County. The North Castle Police Department received a call from a person reporting a concerning incident that had just occurred in the CVS parking lot at 450 Main St. in Armonk, according to Lt.
