Fatal Crash: Orange County 19-Year-Old ID'd As Victim A 19-year-old was killed in a two-vehicle crash after he allegedly ran a red light in the region, striking another car. 18-Year-Old Killed In Head-On Hudson Valley Crash An 18-year-old  man was killed during a head-on crash in the region. The incident occurred in Dutchess County at 12:25 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 31, at the intersection of Route 343 and Altamont Road in the town of Washington (Millbrook). According to Trooper AJ Hicks of the New York State Police, Blaine M. Hadden, age 18, of Millbrook, was driving a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 westbound on Route 343 when he entered the eastbound lane and struck a 2004 Toyota Tundra head-on. Car Flips On Roof In Hudson Valley Crash A car overturned following a crash on a road in the region. The incident happened just after 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 3, in Northern Westchester when the car flipped on the eastern half of Colabaugh Pond Road in Croton-on-Hudson, according to the village's fire department. Arriving first responders found that the driver had managed to escape the vehicle on his own.  The driver later declined a trip to the hospital after being evaluated.  The cause of the crash was not released.

Driver Injured After Car Overturns On Hudson Valley Roadway A driver was hospitalized following a rollover crash on a busy Hudson Valley road.  The crash happened in Putnam County on Monday afternoon, July 22, when an Acura flipped on Milltown Road in the village of Brewster near the Connecticut border, according to the Brewster Fire Department.  Arriving first responders found the driver trapped inside the vehicle and were able to free her before taking her to Danbury Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.  The crash closed Milltown Road on Monday as the scene was cleared, the department said.

2-Car Crash Shuts Down Busy Hudson Valley Intersection, Sends Person To Hospital A two-vehicle crash caused a busy Hudson Valley intersection to close for almost an hour and caused injuries.  The collision happened in Putnam County on Sunday, July 21 just after 5:30 p.m., when two cars crashed at the intersection of Route 6 and Croton Falls Road (Route 34) in Mahopac.  According to the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department, one person received medical transport while another was taken to a hospital.  The intersection was closed for around 40 minutes until the cars involved were removed.
