Violent Stabbing Leads To Attempted Murder Charges For Hudson Valley Man: DA A Hudson Valley man accused of a brutal, unprovoked domestic stabbing was arraigned on attempted murder charges on Monday, Jan. 20. Khiyan Bascus, age 22, of New Windsor, was also charged with attempted assault, assault, and two counts of tampering with physical evidence, said Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler. Orange County Man Stabbed Multiple Times, Suspect Nabbed: Police A 22-year-old man has been arrested and charged with alleged attempted murder following a stabbing in New Windsor, police report. New Windsor Police Chief Daniel Valeri said the incident occurred at the Old Forge Hill Apartments around 9:15 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 2.  When officers arrived, they found a 45-year-old man suffering from multiple stab wounds to his chest, face, and hands.
